Michael Sutton, our introductory Presenter, is a Fashion Photographer who has discovered and photographed some of the most sought after models, introduced them to top agencies, and has also worked with prominent companies and designers across the U.S. Michael will share with you what he looks for in a prospective model, what makes models successful in front of the camera, as well as what clients tend to seek in models.
Rhonda Jackson is an acclaimed makeup artists sought after by models, celebrities, and designers for her ability to create stunning looks that combine an exquisite color sensibility with cutting edge technique. A beauty business veteran, Rhonda has over a decade of experience in editorial, runway, beauty and bridal makeup. She has been called on by Aveda, MAC, Sephora, Target, Monique Lhuillier and superstars Prince and Yoko Ono to perform her makeup magic. Ms Jackon’s work as a product specialist and style consultant has been featured in Allure, Martha Stewart Weddings, The Knot, Minneapolis St. Paul magazine, and Sothebys Artful Living magazine.
Borka Kalahnj, our other featured Agent Presenter from The Rock Agency in Madison, will discuss what you need to be successful as a Model, once you are accepted into the agency based on your "looks." She will discuss exactly what she and the clients look for in terms of personality, attitude, and professionalism. Borka will also apply these concepts to several main topics of the business, including model-client interactions and model-agency interactions, and how to master these to keep the jobs rolling in!
